Albert Park - Melbourne - Victoria - is the venue for the Foster's Australian Grand Prix.
The F1 four day event features many support events and makes for a great racing carnival.
This picturesque track surrounds Albert Park Lake and is close to the city of Melbourne. Sixteen turns of varying types and speed are a feature of this circuit. Opposite Moss Stand in 1998 during qualifying Hakkinen was clocked at 307.7 km/h and it's only 134 meters from turn one. These types of speeds should make for interesting racing!!!
