This non technical publication written by John Tipler, certainly covers many forms of the world's motor sport.

Mr Tipler has covered items such as Turbo chargers, engine / brake cooling, disc brakes and down force with easy to understand text and diagrams.

Included are great images and colourful cutaway drawings of many types of race cars, Formula 1, Formula 3000, NASCAR and V8 Supercars are just some of those covered. However as this publication was printed in 2000, some of the more recent material is starting to show it's age slightly.

Whatever your interest in motor sport (Old or new) it will almost certainly be covered in this interesting English publication.

This high quality hard cover book is good value at $A24.95.
