Simon Wills

Simon Wills (born October 3rd 1976) began his career in 1993 with a quick stint in karting before moving to Formula Ford in the same year.

In 1995, Wills won the NZ FFord International Series and soon after made the move to England where he raced in the British Formula Ford and F3 series, winning the F3 B-class in 1996.

The move to Australia in 1998 saw Wills racing with the Birrana Racing team, winning two Australian and New Zealand Drivers Championships and the NZ Grand Prix twice.

In 2001, Wills dominated the Konica V8 Supercar Series, stepping up the 'major leagues' in 2002 with Briggs Motorsport. After a mid-season split, Wills contested the season endurance races with Stone Brothers Racing, winning the Queensland 500 with David Besnard.
