Craig Baird (Born July 22nd 1970) started racing in karts at the age of just four, Baird has come a long way in the motor racing world.
Winner of 15 New Zealand championships of one sort or another, and having visited the podium of various touring car and sports car races around the world, including the US and at Bathurst, Baird now finds himself as lead driver for a team bearing the weight of his home country, New Zealand, on its shoulders.
Launched at the end of 2000, and having earned respect through consistent and creditable performances, Baird raced for the Team Kiwi operation. Looking to continue his career in the V8 Supercar series Baird now drivers for WPS.
